Ekman Founder and CEO, with 15 years of
experience from international purchasing.
Ekman worked as manager
of strategic sourcing at Allgon Systems with outsourcing and
partnerships for supply and technology. Prior to Allgon Ekman worked
with industrial co-operation for CelsiusTech (a Swedish defence
company), where he worked with offset issues, program management and
strategic purchasing partnerships.
 Bengt Johansson joined Proximion in May 2007 as Chief Technology Officer. Bengt has more than 20 years experience within the optical industry, both from holding different managing positions and from doing research at for example Telia (Swedish PTT). Prior to joining Proximion Bengt worked with product management at Transmode Systems. He was VP of Engineering at Q2labs and founder of the company. He has also worked as System Design Manager for optical systems at Cisco Systems,
Qeyton Systems and Ericsson Telecom. Bengt has more than 20 patents and holds a
Master's Degree in Electronics from Chalmers University.
 Tobias Persson joined Proximion in December 2007 as VP Sales and Marketing.
Tobias has more than 10 years experience within sales of advanced systems to the electronics industry, both from holding different managing positions and from account management. Prior to joining Proximion Tobias worked with Business development at Micronic Laser Systems AB. Tobias holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
 Anders Lundberg joined Proximion in September 2007 as Chief Operating Officer. From 2000 to 2005 Mr. Lundberg served as CEO, founder, and member of the board of the optical networking start-up company Lumentis AB, and upon the merger with Transmode Systems AB remained as founder and consultant in the company up to June 2007. In July 2007 Mr. Lundberg co-founded and started-up a media and print corporation Alpha Sweden AB, in which he is presently a member of the board. From 1993 to 2000 Mr. Lundberg worked at Ericsson Telecom AB as main
project manager
and operational line manager for
ERION WDM Product
Division and main design manager
for the SDH-SMUX
Product Division. Mr. Lundberg holds
a M.Sc. in
Mechanical Engineering from the Royal
College of
Technology (KTH) in Stockholm.
 Lina Bingefors joined Proximion in Augusti 2006 as Manager Production, with almost 15 years of experience from leading positions within Production, mainly from the Swedish defence industry sector. Lina has worked with project management, industrial cooperation, outsourcing as well as strategical and operative development within production. She has experience from both optical and mechanical departments as well as assembly and test of advanced electronic products. Lina holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Linköping University, with further education in
purchasing, leadership and logistics.
 Johan Widman Co-founder and Manager R&D Software and Electronics, Project Manager and Product Manager for WISTOM. Widman holds a Master's Degree in Electro Engineering from the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology and has more than 10 years experience in product development, project management and embedded systems engineering.
 Daniel Hagström joined Proximion in July 2005 as Manager of Business & Organization Development. Daniel Hagström holds 10 years experience of Business & Organization Development within Swedish and International companies such as Allgon Systems AB, Danaher Motion Inc./AB and Tradimus AB. He has also experience in advanced project management and product development from ÅF-Industriteknik AB and Pharmacia & Upjohn AB. Daniel holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and has
further education in economics,
corporate and private
law, leadership,
project
management,
IT and
product
development.
Joakim Flodin joined Proximion in January 2007 as Chief Financial Officer. He has over 10 years experience from various financial positions. Recent positions include Accounting Manager at Gambro Lundia AB, Financial Manager at Hemapure AB (a medtech start-up company acquired by Gambro 2006) and Controller at Uppsala Utility Company. Joakim holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Linköping University, Sweden.
Gabrielle Byfors joined Proximion in November 2005 as Manager Human Resources. Was previously engaged as an HR-consultant for a number of companies in various branches and has also spent some years at Ericsson, responsible for training program for certain products. She joined Proximion in 2001. Gabrielle holds a B.Sc. in Human Resource Development from the University of Stockholm.
