Tunable Dispersion Compensation
| Tunable Dispersion Compensator based on FBG Technology Proximion’s Tunable Dispersion Compensation Module (TDCM) represents the next step in dispersion management. The module is based on Proximion’s well established Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) technology. 
The TDCM holds state-of-the-art features such as being truly colorless, i.e. any channel within the C-band can be compensated. The TDCM offers a wide continuous tunability, ranging from -700 to +700 ps/nm, combined with a wide optical bandwidth, of about 50 GHz, making it suitable for use in 40G applications. The small form factor, together with the very low power dissipation enables an extremely compact system solution. Furthermore, the digital interface simplifies system implementation and design. |
