High Value Dispersion Compensation Module

Proximion’s High Value Continuous Band Dispersion Compensation Module (HDCM) with its high level of dispersion compensation in combination with ultra‐low insertion loss enables hut skipping and lumped dispersion map strategies. By combining several Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBGs) in the HDCM, it is possible to offer modules with the highest dispersion compensation currently available on the market. The HDCM incorporates all the strengths of Proximion’s continuous FBG technology.

Proximion’s HDCM is the perfect solution for enhancing current and future system as well as amplifier designs. By combining several FBGs in a single module, it is possible to create a DCM for up to 500 km of SMF and 2 000 km of LEAF in a single point, while still maintaining a very low loss.
