Founded in 2003, Proximion is a leading provider of Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG)-based products. Proximion’s unique position originates from a world leading proprietary process for design and manufacturing of advanced FBGs that can be tailored to any customer requirement.

Proximion’s automated production facility for FBGs coupled with extensive knowledge and experience of related hardware, software, packaging and applications result in a highly targeted and effective product offering, thus significantly contributing to our partners’ success in a variety of markets, including telecommunication, metrology, life science, high frequency trading, and defense.

For the telecommunication industry, Proximion’s technology offers tailored dispersion products with both reduced loss of signal strength and reduced signal delay, hence decreasing costs, while simultaneously improving performance for the customers. Consequently Proximion’s products are today shipped in volume to the majority of the ten leading system vendors, which represent approximately 90 percent of the telecommunication market.

Proximion is a fast growing company that has successfully reached three digit sales’ growth for five consecutive years, but is yet at the beginning of its growth potential.
